Loi Nan Hpa Mountain is one of the most famous mountains in Kayah State. It is over 5000 feet above sea level and there have a lot of distinct characteristics. At the top of the mountain, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views, a pagoda and a crucifix, both standing 45 feet high, which represent unity and mutual respect. Moreover, visitors can see and learn local flowers and birds.

White Elephant Mountain is located near Maw Thi Do village in Pha Ru So Township and 40 miles far from Loikaw. It is the best place to feel the nature surrounding by beautiful mountains. Moreover, visitors can explore trekking and adventure trips.

People know Kayah State together with the words “Ngwe-Taung State, Ngwe-Taung Dam”. Ngwe Taung Dam is located in Demoso Township and 9 miles far from Loikaw. It is a beautiful spot to take pictures, against the background of the blue sky and spectacular mountains. It is beautiful and pleasant to take relax.

Kyet Cave is located 7 miles far from Loikaw and is an impressive natural cave, made of Limestone and Dolomite. Inside the cave, ancient wooden coffins which are from 2 to 15 feet long and wooden pieces are describing as the part of the Kyet Cave’s ancient history. At the entrance, there is a small wooden bridge and visitors can get excited for beautiful stalactite, wooden coffins and ancient history.

    Htee Paru Nue Cave is located near Maw Thi Do village in Pha Ru So Township and 24 miles away from Loikaw. This is a natural limestone cave and is also the underground river cave. There is a natural waterfall in front of the cave and is the best spot for adventure travel lovers.

Kwine Ngan Water Outlet is located in Dee Maw Soe Township and 27 miles far from Loikaw. Kwine Ngan Water Outlet is also interested place for visitors. Inside the cave, Saint Marian Statue is showing the beliefs of the villagers who are staying near the cave.

Htee Se Kha waterfall is located 16 miles away from Loikaw and is a natural waterfall on the border between Kayah State and Shan State. It is very famous as a wonderful place to relax among domestic travellers mostly at Thingyan Festival, Thathingyut Festival and Myanmar National Holidays.

Ngan Yoe Village is located in Saung Du Lar Village, Demoso Township and 26 miles away from Loikaw and it is home to Yim Baw tribe. This village is well known among visitors for the Tax Pole(Tagundaing) beliefs and their traditional culture.

Isant Village is located 18 miles far away from Loikaw and 2 miles away from Htee Se Khar Waterfall. It is home to Le Sue tribe who are preserving their traditional costume and culture.

Daw Ta Ma Gyi Village is located in Demoso Township and 39 miles away from Loikaw (1-hour and 45-minute drive by car) and it is home to Kayah tribe. In this village, visitors can explore thatched Kayah homes, local spiritualist’s home, and outside the village, can also visit to the traditional rice barns. Visitors can observe preserving traditional Kayah costume and culture.
